Hello everyone. It has been a couple of weeks and I have some good news to share with everybody. First, I got to watch some

more first division handball. We (the National Team guys) went and saw Rhien Neckar-Loewen play Hannover and pretty much

destroy them. The arena that RNL plays in seats about 14,000 people. Now, it wasn't full on this night, but it was the biggest crowd

I have ever seen at a handball match. It was really cool.

So, when I got here in Walldorf, I started practicing with SG Nussloch. There are four other Americans who play with this club so

it was a good spot to practice because it was close and I was able to communicate with people. They have a goalie coach with this

team so I was getting very good training which is what any goalie needs. So after a couple of weeks practicing there, Mark got a

tryout with another team near Frankfurt. He made the team and asked them if they needed a goalie which they said no to, so I just

kept practicing with Nussloch. After he came home from his first game, he told me that one of their goalies got hurt and they wanted

me to come up and tryout. So I have been there for three practices now and I think I will be on that team which feels really good. I

am happy that I will be able to play in a game soon.

Next weekend the Men's National Team Coach, Derrick Heath, is flying here to Germany so we can have a little training camp

with the players located in Europe. I am looking forward to this camp and showing Coach Heath how I have improved from the last

time he saw me play. We are hopefully going to play 3 friendly matches that week and have training sessions every day while he is

here. After the camp, the Federation is going to make their selections for the games against Canada in December. These will be a

good couple of weeks and I am really excited.

I don't know who reads this blog of mine. I would like to think that a lot of people do and this last part is for those of you who are

thinking about coming out, have come out to play one time or are visiting this site for the first time . This is a really great sport and

an even better team. I have met so many great people and some of my best friends from becoming a part of LA Team Handball.

Handball has really changed my life. Just over two years ago I had no idea what handball really was and now I am writing this from

Germany where I am preparing to play for the USA against another country in hopes of getting one step closer to the Olympics. If

somebody told me two years ago that I would be playing in Germany now, I would have laughed. What I'm trying to get at, is you

could be a part of something big. Handball is growing in the USA but the only way for it to really explode, is for more people to know

about it. play it, and support it. I hope that when you read this, you really make an effort to help handball grow in whatever capacity

you can whether it be coming out to play yourself, bringing a friend with you to play, telling somebody about this cool sport, or

making a donation to the sport. The National Teams can use help. Visit usateamhandball.org and read about ways to help build this

sport.  What ever you can do, it will only help. Be a part of the growth of a great sport in the USA. BEAT CANADA!!!!!!!!!
